How the Point Reyes Myriorama began
"I had just finished the penultimate Philip Pullman book in the Golden Compass series. At the very end, it's discovered that the Golden Compass could be substituted for Myriorama cards.
I had never heard of them — so I looked them up. Decks were hard to find and not very pretty.
I reached out to Cherry Allison, who had previously illustrated my beekeeping store, and commissioned her to bring this vision to life. I directed the style and concept for a Myriorama inspired by Point Reyes — its landscapes, buildings, and wildlife."
Every card reflects a love letter to Point Reyes: from coastal fog to poppies in bloom, from tule elk to elephant seals at Drakes Beach. Each illustration invites you to rediscover the magic of this coastal sanctuary through art and play.
